C.D. Castellon has decided to postpone its debut at the Castalia stadium due to necessary reforms to modernize the facilities. The albinegro club has requested LaLiga to allow it to start the upcoming season playing away while the improvement works on safety and comfort are completed. With the league starting scheduled for mid-August, Castellon hopes that its first match will be played away from home. Among the most notable reforms is the installation of an Organizational Control Unit (UCO), which will include high-definition cameras and a control center to ensure fan safety. Additionally, a new VIP area is planned in the Upper Tribune, which will not affect current season ticket holders. The club will also renovate the changing rooms and expand the gym to enhance the sports facilities. These improvements aim not only to meet regulations but also to provide a better experience for spectators. Castellon's fans will have to wait until late August to see their team back in their stadium.
